Artwork with 'Rabbiit' crossed out by hand and 'RabbitWork' in front. Rabbiit is now RabbitWork: what changes (and what stays).
Since 2014 our name has been Rabbiit. With two "i"s.
Today the name is RabbitWork. We dropped one "i" and added "Work."
If you already use Rabbiit, the first thing you may want to know is: what happened to my account?
The answer is simple: nothing happened to it. Your account is the same, along with your login, your password, your projects, your clients, and your full history of hours.
And the team stays the same too. The people who take care of the product and our support do not change: you will keep counting on the same people to help with your routine.
What changed is the name. Behind that change is a larger decision about the path we are building.
Why RabbitWork?
The name Rabbiit came up in almost every conversation about the brand. We had to explain how to spell it, repeat the spelling, and correct the pronunciation. Over time, we realized that this friction got in the way of something important: talking about a product that should be easy to understand and easy to recommend.
So we simplified it. Rabbiit is now RabbitWork.
RabbitWork is easier to say, write, and remember. It is one name for the platform we are building and for the work it helps organize.
But this change did not happen only to make the spelling easier. It also follows a real change in the product.
From time tracking to work management
RabbitWork started as a time-tracking platform. In 2014, the idea was to help professionals and companies record time by project and client, review the hours, and understand what should be billed.
That is still an important foundation. Knowing where time was spent helps take care of projects, costs, and the relationship with the client.
But a team's work does not start when the timer starts. Before an hour is recorded, there are tasks to organize, priorities to set, people to involve, and deadlines to follow.
That is why the platform grew. Today, besides time tracking, RabbitWork already brings together:
- task management, to organize what needs to be done;
- a Kanban board, to follow the work visually;
- hour approval, so managers can review entries before closing;
- reports, to turn what happened on the project into useful information for decisions.
And this is only the beginning of the next chapter. We are working to bring, soon, a Gantt chart and resource allocation management.
With that, RabbitWork moves toward a broader position: a work management platform, where planning, execution, follow-up, and hours are part of the same flow.
What this means for you
If you already use the product, the change does not require moving your account or creating a new one. You do not need to start over, import your data, or relearn everything.
Your account stays in the same place. The app is now at app.rabbitwork.io, and the old addresses redirect as usual.
If you connect RabbitWork to other systems, the API documentation is at api-docs.rabbitwork.io and the endpoints stay the same.
Integrations, the Chrome extension, and the Trello Power-Up also remain part of how we are evolving. The idea is that you can keep working without interruption while the platform gains new possibilities.
What changes now
- The name Rabbiit becomes RabbitWork.
- The logo and visual identity are being updated.
- The site becomes rabbitwork.io.
- Emails and points of contact start using the name RabbitWork.
- The product is presented more clearly as a platform to organize and manage work.
What does not change
- Your account, login, and password.
- Your projects, clients, hours, and history.
- The features you already use.
- The data and integrations in your workspace.
- Your plan and your current terms.
- The team that takes care of the product and our support.
The name change does not change our commitment to the data and to the routine of the people who already trust the product.
A RabbitWork that is easier to understand
You may have met the product through time tracking. You may be arriving now because you need to organize tasks, follow a project, or understand better how your team is using time.
Both are part of the same story.
Work does not happen in isolated pieces. A task becomes a delivery. The delivery takes time. Time becomes information for reviewing costs, capacity, and next steps. When everything stays connected, the team works with more context and management decides with more confidence.
That is the space we want to occupy: one platform to help you plan the work, follow its execution, and understand what was done.
The name changed because it needed to be simpler. The product is changing because the work of teams needs more context. And the direction is clear: keep bringing together, in one place, the tools that help the work happen.
If you already use RabbitWork
You do not need to do anything to keep using your account. Sign in as you always have, find your projects, and pick up the work where you left it.
If a question comes up, talk to support. The name change is ours, and so is the responsibility to explain each step.
If you are just getting to know us
RabbitWork has a free plan and a 14-day trial, with no card. You can start with time tracking and, in the same place, get to know the tools that help organize the team's work.
RabbitWork is our next chapter. Thank you for being part of it — since 2014 or starting today.
